Amman - Saba:
Jordan expressed its absolute rejection of the provocative practices of Zionist settlers at al-Aqsa Mosque, particularly the introduction of a sacrifice into one of its courtyards.
In a statement issued on Monday, the official spokesperson for the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sufian Qudah, affirmed Jordan's absolute rejection of the Zionist settlers' raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque, considering them a flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, and a violation of the historical and legal status quo in Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian holy sites.
Qudah warned of the consequences of the continuation of these violations, calling on the Zionist entity, as the occupying power, to cease all provocative practices by settlers, which aim to impose new facts on the ground at al-Aqsa Mosque, including temporal and spatial division.
He reiterated that the entirety of Al-Aqsa Mosque is a place of worship exclusively for Muslims.
