Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" stated on Monday that famine in Gaza is escalating catastrophically amid the ongoing siege , blockade of food and medicine.
In a press statement, Hamas emphasized that "the only entities authorized to manage and distribute aid are the relevant UN and official government institutions—not the Zionist enemy or its agents." The movement called for breaking the siege and opening crossings to allow aid flow under UN supervision, free from any interference by the "enemy."
Hamas pointed out that the continued blockade of aid by the "Zionist enemy" confirms its intent to impose famine and exacerbate the worsening humanitarian disaster in Gaza.
Since March 2, the "enemy" has committed the largest starvation crime by closing Gaza's crossings to food, relief, medical supplies, and goods—causing a severe deterioration in humanitarian conditions.
