Palestinian detainee Anas Ghaleb Hassan Jaradat from the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, entered his 23rd year in Israeli prisons today, Sunday.
Montaser Samour, director of the Jenin Prisoners Club, said, according to the Palestinian WAFA News Agency, that Jaradat was arrested on May 11, 2003, and was sentenced by Israeli authorities to 35 life sentences, in addition to 35 years.
He added that Jaradat earned his high school diploma and a bachelor's degree in history while in captivity.
