Germany’s newly appointed Foreign Minister, Johann Wadephul, demanded urgent negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza on Sunday.
Wadephul stated, "We are not convinced that military action in Gaza serves 'Israel’s security.'"
The German Foreign Minister affirmed that the Gaza Strip is part of Palestinian territory.
