The Al-Awda Health and Community Association in the Gaza Strip reported that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has abruptly halted contracts and agreements with its affiliated civil society organizations and hospitals.
The association stated in press statements that UNRWA has halted contracts with Al-Awda Hospitals, which have provided free maternity and surgical services since 2011.
