Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri on Saturday affirmed that the Israeli enemy through its continuous attacks "seeks to impose a new reality on Lebanon."
According to the website of al-Manar channel, President Berri indicated that the enemy entity "appears through the reality that he tries to impose that its hand is the supreme, and that it is able, by intensifying its attacks, that Lebanon leads to normalization with it," stressing that "normalization with" Israel "is a betrayal, and it will not happen at all."
In response to a question about the reason for not responding to the Israeli attacks, President Berri affirmed that "Lebanon is committed to the ceasefire agreement, and will not be drawn to what" Israel "wants, saying," Our weapon at this stage is patience, and with this patience we fight them. "
