The Health and Environment Office in Hajjah province and its branches implemented on Saturday health awareness programs for students participating in summer courses in the governorate center and its directorates.
Director of the Health and Environment Office Dr. Ahmed al-Kuhlani explained that these programs aim to strengthen societal awareness among students regarding the importance of personal and public hygiene for individuals and the community.
He noted that the health awareness programs include information on preventing infectious diseases and waterborne diarrhea, methods to combat dengue and malaria, preventative measures, and the role of everyone in supporting the Health Office's efforts in these areas.
Dr. al-Kuhlani emphasized that these health activities are part of the summer course programs, which also include training workshops for students in first aid and the provision of medical supplies and medicines.
