Trading Value on Muscat Stock Exchange Rises to 28.5 Million Omani Riyals Last Week

Last week, the Muscat Stock Exchange saw a rise in its main index by 22 points, closing at 4,351 points, supported by improved company performance and increased investor confidence. Trading value increased to 28.5 million Omani riyals, while the number of transactions declined to 6,603 deals.

Most sectoral indices recorded gains, except for the industrial sector index, which declined. Meanwhile, the 74th issue of government development bonds, worth 100 million Omani riyals, was listed, contributing to an increase in the market value of securities to 27.33 billion riyals.

Additionally, four companies were transferred to the main market after meeting the required conditions, while six companies were moved to the parallel market for failing to meet the necessary listing standards.
