Beirut - Saba:
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), a faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), commended the historic decision issued by the General Conference of Norwegian Trade Unions, which voted overwhelmingly to adopt a recommendation calling for a boycott of the Zionist enemy if it does not end its occupation of the Palestinian territories by September 2025. This is in compliance with international legitimacy resolutions, most notably the UN General Assembly resolution.
The DFLP noted in a statement received by Quds Press that "the adoption of the recommendation by a vote of 240 to 69 represents a significant victory for the international solidarity movement with the Palestinian people's struggle and a significant boost to the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign, it also reflects the growing international awareness of the justness of the Palestinian cause and the rejection of the enemy and its practices of apartheid."
