The Mexican government has filed a lawsuit against the American company Google for displaying the name "Gulf of America" on its digital maps instead of the Gulf of Mexico.
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said at a press conference in Mexico City: "The lawsuit has already been filed (against Google for displaying the name 'Gulf of America' on its digital maps). The first decision has been issued. We are now awaiting the next one."
