The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlid, and the Governor of Ibb, Abdulwahid Salah, inspected on Thursday the progress of activities and summer courses in several schools in Al-Dhahar District.
Accompanied by the Mobilization Officer of the province, Abdul Fattah Ghallab, the Education Sector Officer, Mohammed Al-Ghazali, and the Director of the Youth and Sports Office, Ibrahim Al-Masawi, they reviewed the implementation of summer courses at Al-Shaheed Al-Qa'id, Al-Aqsa, and Al-Sarkha schools.
The visitors listened to explanations from the organizers of the summer courses about the activities and programs in various fields, including religious, scouting, educational, cultural, and sports activities, as well as the level of participation.
The Minister of Youth and Sports emphasized the importance of summer courses and activities, which receive attention from the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, the local authorities, and official and community entities, as they play a vital role in refining students' skills and harnessing their energies for their benefit.
He noted that these visits aim to support and motivate students in the summer courses, enabling them to maximize the benefits of these purposeful activities, which provide them with useful knowledge and shield them from misleading ideologies and soft warfare.
