Sana'a – SABA:
The successive commendations from Arab factions and components regarding Yemen’s heroic operation—targeting Ben Gurion Airport with a ballistic missile on Sunday—stem from the operation’s significance and uniqueness. It has reignited hope for the nation’s ability to achieve victory over the occupying enemy while delivering a resolute stance in deterring the aggressor and supporting Gaza’s oppressed people amid their unprecedented tragedy, unfolding daily under shameful Arab and international silence.
Several Arab factions praised Yemen’s missile strike on Ben Gurion Airport in occupied Jaffa, hailing it as a qualitative heroic operation and a major victory that shattered the myth of the "invincible" Israeli army. They described this achievement as a source of pride and a testament to national dignity, emphasizing its role in backing the Palestinian people’s just cause through divine will.
Reactions poured in, viewing this victory as the fruit of the Yemeni people’s sacrifices, the wisdom of their leadership, and the bravery of their armed forces. This triumph further exposes American failure to halt Yemen’s support for Gaza and opens a door of hope for the nation, proving that victory over the Zionist entity is not impossible.
Steadfast Stance
Hezbollah blessed the "qualitative operation by the Yemeni Armed Forces, which targeted Ben Gurion Airport in the heart of the temporary Zionist entity, breaching all Zionist and American defense systems with precise accuracy, crushing the entity’s arrogance."
In a statement, Hezbollah declared:
- "This heroic strike reaffirms the failure of the American-British aggression on Yemen and their inability to break the Yemeni people’s iron will."
- "Yemen’s honorable stance in supporting Gaza and confronting Zionist genocide is a source of pride for all free people and a rebuke to Arab and Islamic nations."
- "This stance obliges everyone to mobilize all capabilities in support of Gaza."
Palestinian Resistance Movements Hail Yemen’s Heroism
- Islamic Jihad praised the "qualitative missile strike," stating:
"We salute Yemen’s courage and sacrifices in standing with Gaza despite enduring brutal aggression."
- Hamas blessed the "blessed strikes deep in the Zionist entity," calling the attack on Ben Gurion Airport a "firm commitment to Palestine" and proof of Yemen’s resilience against U.S.-Zionist aggression.
Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson for Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, praised the Yemeni missile. He stated:
“Glory to Yemen, twin of Palestine, as it continues to challenge the most tyrannical powers and refuses submission or defeat despite the aggression it faces. It escalates its attacks on the heart of the illegitimate Zionist entity, surpassing the most advanced defense systems in the world and striking its targets with precision.”
He added:
“May God guide your strikes, bless your jihad, and accept your sacrifices. You are of us, and we are of you.”
A Significant Development
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine also described the Yemeni ballistic strike deep into the Zionist entity as “a highly significant qualitative development” in response to the ongoing Zionist-American aggression on Gaza and Yemen.
It affirmed that “this operation delivers a strong blow to the occupation, revealing the fragility of its air defenses, including the advanced Arrow 3 and THAAD systems.” It stressed that “there is no safe place for the enemy, not even in its most fortified and sensitive facilities.”
The Front added that “the continued launch of missiles and drones from Yemen toward the heart of the entity, despite the American and British military escalation, reflects the failure of this aggression to diminish Yemen’s combat capabilities. It confirms that Sana’a’s will to confront has not weakened, but has grown stronger.”
It considered the strike, which coincided with a special operation by the Palestinian resistance in Rafah, “a real embodiment of the unity of the battlefield, blood, and destiny between Gaza and Sana’a against the Zionist-imperialist project targeting the peoples of the entire region.”
A Message of Fire and Steel
The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, also praised the ballistic missile attack carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces, targeting Ben Gurion Airport in occupied Palestine.
Spokesman “Abu Jamal” said in a statement:
“Yemen today sends a message of fire and steel to the Zionist enemy, in support of our steadfast Palestinian people and their resistance, and in response to the ongoing crimes against our people in Gaza and across Palestine.”
He viewed the strike as “a page of honor in Yemen’s glorious history, exposing the failure of the enemy’s security systems and its regional allies.” He emphasized that Yemen, “despite the American-British-Israeli bombardment and targeting, proves that the only option for the nation’s peoples is resistance and steadfastness.”
Support from Other Movements
The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement also praised the strike by the Yemeni Armed Forces, describing it as “a qualitative strike” that exposed the failure of air defense systems and confirmed the failure of the ongoing international aggression on Yemen.
The movement said the strike reflects Yemen’s firm and genuine position on the Palestinian cause and represents a natural extension of its continuous support for Gaza amid ongoing massacres and an Arab-Islamic silence and complicity.
It added:
“Yemen’s response is a slap to American and Zionist arrogance and proves once again that the will of free peoples can break the equations of dominance and global conspiracy.”
The Mujahideen Movement called on Arab and Islamic peoples to break their silence and helplessness and follow Yemen’s path in supporting Palestine and defending the nation’s sanctities and the innocent blood shed daily in Gaza.
Enemy’s Failure
The Palestinian Revolutionary Alternative Path Movement also congratulated this “heroic operation,” asserting that the hypersonic missile strike on the Zionist airport hit the entity’s primary strategic site — a highly sensitive area the enemy considers a fortified citadel.
It said the strike disoriented the enemy and marked yet another failure to deter Yemen or protect its racist society.
According to the movement, this blessed operation will have economic, political, security, and psychological effects on the reality of the entity and the government of criminal fascist Netanyahu. It could accelerate the end of the aggression and the total siege on Gaza.
The operation also disrupted American calculations in the region, especially amid what it called “Iranian-American negotiations,” recalling Trump’s past threats to Yemen and Iran that ultimately failed.
The statement emphasized the independence of Yemeni decision-making and the readiness of Yemen’s revolutionary forces to go further than the enemy expects.
“But God Threw”
The Islamic Tawhid Movement in Lebanon expressed “pride and honor in our blessed Yemen,” highlighting the dignity reached by loyal Arab Muslims who declared war and enmity against Zionists and Americans, in defense of the oppressed in Lebanon and Palestine, and the sanctities of Arabs and Muslims.
Their statement read:
“As if the holy verse refers to Yemen and its people: ‘You did not throw when you threw, but God threw.’ The victorious Yemeni missiles — not least the one that fell into the heart of Ben Gurion Airport — were a divine strike, guided by heaven, defeating the West’s technological might and the failure of the world’s most advanced American air defense systems.”
The movement congratulated the people of Gaza, who celebrated and rejoiced to the rhythm of Yemen’s missiles — a balm for grieving hearts and a comfort to the families of victims and martyrs.
A Historic Stance
The Islamic Action Front in Lebanon also praised Yemen’s targeting of Ben Gurion Airport.
In its statement, the Front saluted “the brave men of Yemen and the heroic Ansar Allah, who shut down straits and seas to enemy ships and deprived it of trade, weapons, and resources aiding in genocide against our people in Gaza.”
It highlighted Yemen’s historical and pan-Islamic stance in supporting Gaza.
It said the missile strike struck down the arrogance and pride of the bloodthirsty Zionist criminal enemy, forced about 3 million settlers into shelters, and shut down the airport to global air traffic.
Most importantly, the Front emphasized, was the failure of the world’s top missile defense systems — including the THAAD system — to intercept the large Yemeni ballistic missile, which hit the core of the enemy’s psyche and myth.
Yemeni Commandos
In Oman, the Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad bin Hamad Al-Khalili, praised the Yemeni operation targeting Ben Gurion Airport with a ballistic missile.
In a post on X, he said:
“We salute the heroic Yemeni commandos who stood for truth and justice. May God grant them success for this great achievement in targeting the enemy’s key center.”
He added:
“May they continue with God’s guidance and aid. God is sufficient for us all.”
An Exceptional Event
Palestinian military analyst Ahmad Abdul Rahman described the missile strike on Ben Gurion Airport as “an exceptional event” in terms of timing, location, and impact.
He told Shehab Agency that the missile carried a warhead weighing at least half a ton, based on the 25-meter-wide crater it created. He said this missile differs from previous ones in terms of size and destructive power.
He emphasized that the missile bypassed two of the most advanced Israeli and American defense systems, landing with full impact on the airport — an admitted failure by Israeli sources.
He noted that Ben Gurion Airport is Israel’s most vital airport, serving around 4 million visitors annually and functioning as a major economic artery.
He concluded that this was not just a physical strike, but a deeply symbolic message: despite massive military support, Israel cannot protect its most critical infrastructure from missiles launched over 2,000 kilometers away.
In Summary:
This success represents an achievement for all Yemenis, regardless of political or regional affiliations. It serves as a path toward national unity, encouraging all segments of Yemeni society to set aside their differences and unite in defense of Palestine — “the central cause of the nation” — and their homeland. This victory will also fuel further resilience in the face of ongoing aggression.
