Gaza - Saba:
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) warned on Thursday of a new Zionist scheme being orchestrated through a dangerous mechanism called (2720), which the Zionist enemy has begun promoting as a "humanitarian" cover.
In a press statement, the PFLP said that this suspicious mechanism is essentially a new colonial mechanism to impose control over the humanitarian aid file in the Gaza Strip, turning it into a tool for political and security blackmail and a prelude to imposing forced displacement and transferring residents to specific areas in Rafah, resembling "mass detention camps," in a blatant violation of all international norms and conventions.
It explained that the establishment of suspicious institutions directly linked to Zionist security agencies, and the attempt to force international organizations to register with the occupation and submit their security data, are an attempt to legitimize the occupation and normalize its security presence within humanitarian work, transforming aid into a tool of control and domination, rather than purely humanitarian work.
The Front welcomed the position of the majority of international organizations, especially those within the AIDA group, which have refused to submit to the new Zionist mechanism. It calls on them to adhere to their moral, humanitarian, and legal positions and not be drawn into any attempts at subjugation or threats.
It warned that any international organization or so-called "donor" that engages in this mechanism without clear international legal cover, or that deals with the Zionist enemy as a reference or coordinating body, will be considered a tool in the hands of the occupation. It will be treated by the Palestinian people and its living forces as an extension of the occupation authority, and will not be permitted to operate within the Gaza Strip under any circumstances.
The Front renewed its call to break the siege and distribute relief supplies through legitimate and acceptable national and international mechanisms. It called on Arab countries and the United Nations to take urgent action to facilitate the entry of aid in coordination with recognized international institutions, most notably UNRWA, and to confront the occupation's attempts to impose political or security conditions on needy Palestinians.
It called for the formation of a national oversight committee, including independent Palestinian institutions, to oversee and distribute aid according to standards of justice and humanitarian need, across all areas of the Gaza Strip without discrimination.
The Front stated that these occupation plans are part of the ongoing war against our people and an extension of the policies of genocide, starvation, and ethnic cleansing.
"We will confront them with the unity and resistance of our people, and by adhering to our national and humanitarian principles. We will expose all those complicit in this new liquidation project," the Front added.
