Day 108 of Aggression: Zionist enemy continues assault on Jenin City & camp
[07/ May/2025]
Jenin - Saba :
The Zionist enemy forces continue their aggression on Jenin city and its camp for the 108th consecutive day, expanding demolition and destruction operations inside the camp to alter its features and structure, while maintaining a blockade on entry and access.

According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), the enemy forces detained an elderly woman at the entrance of Jenin Governmental Hospital for several hours on Wednesday morning, amid the deployment of infantry units around the hospital. Meanwhile, consecutive explosions were heard from inside Jenin camp.

The villages of Jenin Governorate witness near-daily raids alongside the ongoing aggression on the city and camp, with daily military movements recorded in most villages of the governorate, in addition to the constant presence of enemy patrols and vehicles.

The enemy forces also maintain a complete closure of Jenin camp, preventing access while continuing demolition and destruction operations aimed at changing its structure and landmarks. According to Jenin Municipality estimates, nearly 600 houses in the camp have been completely destroyed, while the remaining houses have been partially damaged and rendered uninhabitable.

Jenin city has also suffered significant damage to facilities, homes, and infrastructure, particularly in the eastern neighborhood and Al-Hadaf area.

The enemy forces continue to deploy additional military reinforcements, consisting of 12 military vehicles, toward the camp and its surroundings, while infantry units are seen daily in several neighborhoods of the city.

Families from the camp, along with hundreds of displaced families from the city and its surroundings, remain forcibly displaced. Jenin Municipality reports that the number of displaced persons from the camp and the city has exceeded 22,000.

The economic situation in Jenin continues to deteriorate, with massive commercial losses due to the aggression, leading to widespread closures of shops and a decline in incoming shoppers from outside the city. Additionally, infrastructure and streets have been destroyed, and a large number of commercial stores—particularly in the western neighborhoods—have been damaged, resulting in a near-total economic paralysis. Preliminary estimates indicate losses exceeding $300 million.

Since the aggression began on January 21, 40 martyrs have been killed, along with dozens of injuries and arrests.
