The board of Egypt’s Zamalek Football Club announced the termination of the contract of Portuguese coach José Peseiro, the team’s technical director, by mutual consent between both parties.
Zamalek posted a message of thanks on its official X platform page on Wednesday, stating: "An agreement between Zamalek and Peseiro to part ways by mutual consent. We wish you success in your future endeavors."
The 65-year-old Portuguese coach had taken charge of Zamalek in February 2025 under a contract that ran until June 30, 2026.
José Peseiro led the "White Knights" in 13 matches across various competitions in the current season (2024-2025), securing six wins, six draws, and only one defeat.
