The Iranian Foreign Ministry welcomed the Omani Foreign Ministry's statement on developments related to the Republic of Yemen and the cessation of US attacks on the country.
Iran's Tasnim News Agency reported that Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei expressed his appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman's efforts in this regard.
Baghhaei praised "the steadfastness of the great Yemeni people in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people in the face of genocide and occupation, and their steadfastness in confronting repeated US attacks over the past year," stressing that "the peoples of the region will never forget the legendary resistance of the Yemeni people in the face of foreign aggression."
While he considered "the US government to be, without a doubt, an accomplice in the crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the Yemeni people," he called on "the international community to take effective and swift measures to halt this entity's attacks on civilian infrastructure in Yemen and to stop the massacres of innocent people."
