A training workshop was held in the capital Sana'a for teams tasked with evaluating public service delivery centers and methods in state administrative units.
Organized by the National Team to Support the Implementation of the Project to Simplify Transaction Procedures and Combat Extortion, the workshop aimed to equip evaluation teams with the criteria and skills needed for accurate assessment. Participants learned to scientifically and objectively evaluate service delivery methods and manuals.
Deputy Minister Anas Sufyan, head of the National Team, reviewed the evaluation criteria and mechanisms for the upcoming field visits to central and local public service units.
He emphasized the importance of this evaluation phase for future improvement, aiming to enhance the performance of public service units and strengthen citizen-state trust.
The evaluation will focus on the efficiency of service centers, responsiveness, transparency, effectiveness of delivery mechanisms, staff competence, complaint resolution, transaction monitoring, and infrastructure.
Sufyan stressed the need for objectivity and credibility in diagnosing the reality of service provision to identify and rectify shortcomings in partnership with all involved parties.
