On Wednesday, groups of Zionist Jewish settlers renewed their storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Quds, under the protection of Israeli forces.
The Palestinian WAFA News Agency, citing eyewitnesses, reported that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in groups, conducted provocative tours of its compound, and performed Talmudic rituals under the protection of Israeli forces.
Israeli forces imposed strict restrictions on the entry of worshippers to Al-Aqsa and checked their IDs at the mosque gates.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Quds stated that the so-called "Temple Groups" launched a petition to collect signatures, addressed to the Minister of National Security in the extremist Israeli government, Itamar Ben-Gvir. The petition includes provocative demands regarding Al-Aqsa Mosque during the so-called "Quds Day," on May 26.
