Zionist enemy forces arrested lawyer Banan Abu Al-Hayja this Wednesday afternoon as she was passing through the Jabara military checkpoint south of the city of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank.
Abu al-Hija had been with her sick mother at the Istishari Hospital in Ramallah since January, where she underwent surgery following the deterioration of her health.
Abu Al-Hayja is the daughter of the imprisoned leader of the Qassam Brigades, Jamal Abu Al-Hayja, who is serving a life sentence, and the sister of the martyr Hamza Abu al-Hija. She also has three brothers, some of whom are detained by the Israeli occupation and others by security forces in the West Bank.
