French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot described the Israeli plan to take over Gaza as "unacceptable," in a press statement on Tuesday, considering that the Israeli government "violates international humanitarian law."
France expressed its strong condemnation of the Israeli occupation authorities' plan to take over Gaza and held them responsible for the consequences of the new military operation in the Strip.
The Foreign Minister indicated that "the most urgent need is a ceasefire and unhindered access for humanitarian aid."
