Jenin - Saba:
Israeli enemy forces continue their aggression against the city of Jenin and its camp for the 107th consecutive day, expanding their bulldozing and destruction operations inside the camp, aiming to alter its features and structure, while continuing to prevent entry to it.
The Palestinian WAFA News Agency reported that in the southern Ya'bad plain, Israeli military vehicles conducted land-leveling operations in the area between the settlements of Hermesh and Dotan.
Villages in the Jenin Governorate are witnessing almost daily incursions as the Israeli aggression against the city and camp continues. Daily military movements are recorded in most villages of the governorate, along with a constant presence of Israeli patrols and vehicles.
Israeli forces also continue to completely seal off Jenin Camp, preventing entry to it, while continuing to carry out land-leveling and destruction operations inside, aimed at altering its structure and features.
According to Jenin Municipality estimates, approximately 600 homes were completely demolished in the camp, while the rest were partially damaged and rendered uninhabitable. Meanwhile, the occupation forces continue to fire live ammunition intensively in the camp.
The aggression also caused significant damage to facilities, homes, and infrastructure in the city of Jenin, particularly in the eastern neighborhood and the Al-Hadaf neighborhood.
Israeli forces continue to send additional military reinforcements toward the camp and its surroundings, while infantry units are deployed daily in several neighborhoods.
Families from the camp, along with hundreds of families from the city and its surroundings, are still being forcibly displaced. The Jenin Municipality indicates that the number of displaced persons from the camp and the city has exceeded 22,000.
The economic situation in Jenin is deteriorating further, with heavy commercial losses resulting from the offensive. This offensive has led to the closure of many shops and a decline in shopping traffic coming into the city from outside. Furthermore, bulldozing and destruction of infrastructure and streets have resulted in the damage to a large number of shops, particularly in the western neighborhoods, which are experiencing near-total economic paralysis.
Yesterday, Israeli forces arrested two young men from the western town of Yamoun, while raiding the towns of Yamoun, Sila al-Harithiya, and Rummana, combing their streets, and deploying their vehicles in their neighborhoods.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression on the city and camp on January 21, 40 Palestinians have been killed, along with dozens more injured and arrested.
