Tehran – Saba:
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi commented on America’s support for the Zionist entity and its attempts to undermine diplomatic solutions, stating: "Supporting Netanyahu in committing genocide in Gaza by supplying deadly weapons and waging proxy wars in Yemen has brought no gains to the American people."
In a post on X platform, Araghchi emphasized that "the only path to an agreement is diplomacy based on mutual respect and shared interests."
The Iranian Foreign Minister added: "Netanyahu is shamelessly trying to dictate to President Trump what he can and cannot do in his diplomacy with Iran. It has become clear to the world how Netanyahu directly interferes in U.S. government affairs, pushing it toward a new catastrophe in our region."
He noted that "Netanyahu deceived Biden’s failed team into giving him $23 billion from American taxpayers’ money," adding that "this amount is nothing compared to the cost of any reckless move they might take against Iran."
Araghchi stressed that "if the ultimate goal—as President Trump has repeatedly stated—is ‘preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons,’ then reaching an agreement is possible, but this can only be achieved through diplomacy built on respect and mutual interests."
He concluded: "The ‘Netanyahu First’ minority in America, which fears diplomacy, has now revealed its true intentions. The world must recognize what their real priorities are."
