Summer course students in Shu’ub district visit central grain market

Sana'a - Saba:
The Executive Committee of the Summer Courses in Shu’ub District, Capital Secretariat, organized a visit for summer school students to the Central Market for Local Grain Crops, affiliated with the General Institution for Grain Development and Production.

During the visit, the students toured the sections and shops of the Central Market, where they learned about various types of local food grain crops, including white and red sorghum, wheat, millet, barley, and others, as well as the natural products sales center.

They received an explanation from Marketing Director Abdullah Hajr about the nature of agricultural grain products, highlighting the high-quality local varieties and their importance in achieving self-sufficiency, in light of the revolutionary leadership’s efforts to encourage the cultivation and productivity of agricultural crops.

The organizers of the summer schools in Shu’ub District emphasized that the visit to the Central Grain Market aimed to introduce students to local grain products and crops cultivated across Yemeni farms and fields.
