Ramallah - Saba:

Minister Mu'ayyad Shaaban, head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, has said that Zionist enemy forces and settlers carried out a total of 1,693 attacks during April, continuing the ongoing series of terrorism against the Palestinian people, their lands, and their property.

Shaaban explained in the commission's monthly report, "Enemy Violations and Settlement Expansion Measures," published on Monday, that the enemy army carried out 1,352 attacks, while settlers carried out 341 attacks.

The total number of attacks was concentrated in the governorates of Hebron with 292 attacks, Ramallah with 269 attacks, and Nablus with 254 attacks.

He stated that settler attacks were concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah with 65 attacks, Hebron with 59 attacks, Nablus with 40 attacks, and Jerusalem with 30 attacks. According to the report, settlers carried out 231 acts of vandalism and theft of Palestinian property, affecting vast areas of land. The attacks also resulted in the uprooting of 1,168 olive trees, with 530 trees in Ramallah, 300 in Nablus, and 298 in Salfit.

The report stated that settlers have attempted to establish ten new settlement outposts since the beginning of last April, predominantly agricultural and pastoral.

According to the report, the occupation authorities seized a total of 54 dunams of Palestinian land through four seizure orders for military purposes. These orders aimed to establish a buffer zone around the Efrata settlement on Bethlehem land, totaling 45 dunams, and another buffer zone around the Nekodim settlement, totaling three dunams.

During April, Israeli authorities carried out 73 demolitions targeting 152 structures, including 96 inhabited homes, 10 uninhabited ones, 34 agricultural facilities, and others. These demolitions were concentrated in the governorates of Tubas (59), Hebron (39), and Jerusalem (17).

A further 46 demolition notices were distributed to Palestinian structures, continuing the crackdown on Palestinian construction and the natural growth of Palestinian villages and towns, which is currently manifesting in a significant number of demolitions.
The notices were concentrated in the Hebron governorate (16), Ramallah (14), and Jerusalem (12).

The report stated that Israeli planning authorities examined 21 master plans for West Bank settlements and six plans for settlements within the so-called "Jerusalem municipal boundaries" in April. He explained that the occupation authorities approved ten master plans, while depositing 17 other plans.

The April plans targeted a total of 3,030 dunams of citizens' land.
