Summer courses contribute to building an aware, educated, and resilient generation capable of protecting their homeland, confronting the enemies of Islam and Muslims, and thwarting their plots and conspiracies targeting youth and children.

These summer courses are held within the framework of the interest of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, in the younger generation and their protection from false ideas and the soft warfare that the enemies of Islam are attempting to target them with. These courses also highlight the importance of utilizing the summer vacation to benefit male and female students in scientific, religious, cultural, and literary fields, protecting them from destructive cultures.

The increasing demand for summer courses this year reflects the high level of community awareness regarding their importance and role in safeguarding students from infiltration and foreign cultures, as well as protecting them from the dangers of moral deviation, religious distortion, soft warfare, and deviant ideas.

The overwhelming turnout for these courses demonstrates the eagerness of parents to develop their children's skills, discover their talents in various fields, benefit from the courses' diverse activities and programs, broaden their horizons, and build their capacities and skills.

Those in charge of the summer courses are committed to implementing the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, by focusing on purposeful activities and programs offered to participants. This dedication contributes to achieving the desired goals of cultivating an informed generation armed with knowledge and science, and resilient to enemy conspiracies.


Summer activities are not limited to education alone, but include cultural, sports, social, and competition activities, opening up a wide range of opportunities for students to showcase their talents and pursue their hobbies in the fields of public speaking, poetry, drawing, and other subjects. They also engage in social activities that build self-confidence and the ability to face challenges.

Summer courses in the districts of Damt, Juban, al-Husha, and Qataba in Dhale' province witnessed significant momentum in preparing children and youth properly, based on the Quranic curriculum and sound religious principles. This ensures the building of a generation armed with the faith-based identity that enemies are attempting to target.

Acting governor Abdullatif al-Shaghdari emphasized the importance of the summer courses in enhancing children's awareness of the dangers of soft warfare and developing their faith and academic abilities by teaching them the Holy Quran through memorization, recitation, and contemplation, in addition to providing them with cultural, athletic, and cognitive training.

He considered the summer courses an important educational platform for raising a generation armed with Quranic values and principles, capable of advancing their nation and confronting conspiracies targeting the ideology and identity of youth. He pointed out that the turnout for the summer courses this year has increased significantly compared to last year, reflecting the awareness of parents and their interest in protecting their children from soft warfare and teaching them Islamic sciences.

Al-Shaghdari explained that the summer courses in the province are proceeding according to plan, stressing that the subcommittee for course activities monitors the summer schools' performance daily and works to overcome field challenges to ensure the achievement of the desired educational and national goals.

He pointed out that the summer courses have proven effective in protecting students from the dangers of idleness and delinquency, through useful activities that contribute to refining their personalities and developing their diverse skills.

Al-Shaghdari praised the efforts of all field workers, including local authorities, general mobilization, and the education sector, who have played a vital role in mobilizing for the summer courses and facilitating all challenges facing the workflow.

Ahmed al-Marrani, the province's mobilization official, highlighted the pivotal role of the summer courses in consolidating faith identity, emphasizing the commitment to their success to achieve a positive impact in protecting students from misconceptions at all levels.

He highlighted the importance of developing the knowledge of young people, equipping them with Quranic culture and faith-based education, protecting them from deviant ideas and false cultures, and developing their abilities, knowledge, and academic, cultural, and athletic achievements.

Al-Marrani stated that the summer courses are witnessing increasing demand, reflecting the success of community response, which encourages expansion and development of the experience in the coming seasons.

Abdullah al-Azzam, head of the province's guidance sector, explained that the number of students enrolled in the summer courses this year (1446 AH) reached 13,579 students, distributed across 171 summer schools in the districts of Damt, al-Husha, Qataba, and Jubn, with the participation of 599 teachers.

He pointed out that the number of schools in Damt reached 39, with 2,682 students and 139 teachers, while in Al-Hasha there are 53 schools with 3,340 students and 197 teachers.

Al-Azzam explained that the number of schools in Jubn reached 26, with 1,395 students and 61 teachers, while Qataba district has 53 schools, with 6,162 students and 206 teachers.

The benefits of the summer courses are evident in their inclusion of students, protecting them from the dangers of idleness during the summer vacation, and providing them with religious and humanistic knowledge aimed at building a generation that upholds the culture of the Holy Quran in word and deed.
