Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) commended the Yemeni Armed Forces' announcement on Sunday that they had imposed a comprehensive air blockade on the Israeli occupation, in response to the occupation army's intention to expand its aggressive operations in Gaza.
The movement said in a statement, "This heroic action embodies the depth of Yemen's and our brothers in Ansar Allah's engagement in the battle to defend and support our people, in light of a criminal Zionist attack aimed at annihilating them and liquidating their cause."
It added, "Dear Yemen, with its honorable stances that express the authenticity of its people and the courage of its leadership, is restoring, in this heroic battle, the values of brotherhood and the bonds of religion and Arabism; and adhering to the causes of the nation, its peoples, and its holy sites, which are groaning under the weight of a barbaric, fascist occupier."
The movement noted that "the Yemeni Armed Forces' affirmation that a free Yemen will not accept the occupation of Arab lands, especially in Lebanon and Syria, is a responsible affirmation of a unified destiny and the necessity of unifying efforts to confront the dangerous Zionist schemes targeting the entire nation."
It renewed its call to the Arab and Islamic nations, with all their components, "to engage in the battle to defend the nation and its independence, confront the fascist occupation projects, and work to uproot it from all occupied Arab lands."
