Sana'a (Saba) – The Humanitarian Coordination Center (HOCC) in the capital, Sana'a, sent a letter to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) informing the Yemeni Armed Forces of the decision to impose a comprehensive ban on air traffic to and from the airports of the usurping Israeli enemy.

The center indicated that the letter comes within the framework of the Republic of Yemen's commitment to the safety of civil aviation, which falls within the scope of the responsibilities of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA), in accordance with document (Doc 9554-AN/932) and the provisions of the organization. International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) regulations contained in Annex 11, Annex 15 and other documents.

The Center concluded its letter by stating, "We hope to receive a prompt response from you as an acknowledgment of receipt. Otherwise, confirmation of the "means of transmission used" of the arrival of this notice will be considered confirmation of your receipt."
