Twenty-five people were injured when two trains collided at a railway station in Constanța, Romania.
Romanian media reported on Sunday that the collision occurred at Constanța Station, following which 20 individuals underwent medical examinations at the scene, while five others were transported to the hospital.
The Romanian National Railway Company stated that passenger train IR 1586 was preparing to depart the station when it was struck by train IR 1688, which was performing a maneuver to change tracks.
Railway operations at Constanța Station were temporarily restored to ensure safe operational activities and investigations.
According to the Emergency Management Directorate, none of the passengers sustained serious injuries.
