The Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission and the Ministry of Administration, Local and Rural Development have launched a joint team to implement preventive measures against irregularities in local authority units at central, province, and district levels.
The inauguration occurred during a meeting chaired by a Commission member and attended by ministry undersecretaries and the head of the Commission's Anti-Corruption Prevention and Control Department.
This initiative aligns with the Anti-Corruption Law, the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2022-2026, and government directives.
The meeting reviewed a matrix of preventive measures and approved procedures, including the completion of a timed implementation plan by the Ministry to address imbalances, which will be discussed in the next meeting.
