Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) praised the "blessed strikes carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces deep inside the Zionist entity."
In a press statement on Sunday, the movement said, "The missile strike launched by the Yemeni Armed Forces at Ben Gurion Airport, in the heart of Tel Aviv, expresses Yemen's firm commitment to the Palestinian cause and its genuine determination to stand by our oppressed Palestinian people, despite the ongoing barbaric American-Zionist aggression against our brotherly country."
It praised "Yemen, its people and leadership, for its authenticity and courage, and for continuing its path of support and assistance to our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, who are being subjected to genocide. We affirm our full solidarity with Yemen in the face of the brutal American-Zionist aggression."
It called on "all components of our Arab and Islamic nation to shoulder their historical responsibilities in supporting Palestine and defending our people, who are facing genocide and systematic starvation in the Gaza Strip. They must join the battle to defend the nation's sanctities and confront the plans of the fascist occupation, which seeks to dominate the region and control the resources of its people."
Eight people were injured on Sunday when a ballistic missile fell on Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied city of Jaffa (Tel Aviv).
The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth quoted the Israeli ambulance service as confirming that the number of people injured by the Yemeni missile at Ben Gurion Airport had risen to eight.
Israeli media reported that the explosion of the Yemeni missile at Ben Gurion Airport left a crater 25 meters deep.
Israeli Army Radio quoted a military source as saying: "The American THAAD and Israeli Arrow systems attempted to intercept the Yemeni missile but failed."
