Launch of unified electronic coordination & admission for community colleges & Technical Institutes for Academic Year 1447 AH

The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research launched on Saturday the unified electronic coordination and admission process for government and private community colleges, as well as technical and vocational institutes.

The launch was carried out through the electronic coordination and admission portal for Yemeni educational institutions via the Information Technology Center for the academic year 1447 AH (2025-2026) at the following link: [https://oasyemen.net/](https://oasyemen.net/).

During the ceremony, Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Saadi emphasized that the launch of the unified coordination and admission system for community colleges and technical institutes is part of the ministry’s plan to integrate education systems, starting from schools and institutes to community colleges, universities, and postgraduate studies.

He described the achievement of the coordination portal for community colleges and institutes within the framework of the unified university coordination system via the Information Technology Center as a significant step toward enhancing efforts to regulate admission processes across all educational sectors and addressing related challenges.

Minister Al-Saadi praised the efforts of the ministry’s leadership, sector deputies, and the Information Technology Center in accomplishing this milestone while stressing the need for further development in this area.

Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research Dr. Hatem Al-Duais considered the launch a manifestation of integration, as it unifies coordination and admission for community colleges and technical institutes under a single portal for Yemeni educational institutions via the Information Technology Center.

He noted that the portal effectively includes all educational systems and categories, with ongoing efforts to expand its coverage to school students.

Meanwhile, Deputy Ministers for Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim Luqman and Secondary Education Dr. Zaid Al-Hadour highlighted the importance of unifying the electronic coordination and admission portal for community colleges, technical institutes, and Yemeni universities through the Information Technology Center’s platform, which has now evolved into an accessible application for all.

They confirmed that next year will see the preparation of a unified policy document for admission and coordination across all educational systems and levels to ensure integration. They also stressed the country’s need for applied technical and vocational specializations to drive industrial advancement.

Luqman and Al-Hadour commended the efforts to follow up and complete the integration between general, technical, vocational, and higher education institutions, which aims to reform the technical education system through automation and integration with broader educational frameworks.

For his part, Dr. Fuad Abdulrazzaq, Executive Director of the Information Technology Center, described the launch of the unified electronic coordination and admission system for community colleges and technical institutes as an advanced step toward actual integration, restoring these institutions to their natural position within higher education.

He affirmed the commitment to implementing the ministry’s directives by collaborating with the technical education IT team to develop a phased integration mechanism, starting with community colleges and extending to technical and vocational institutes, resulting in this unified portal that encompasses all educational sectors.

Meanwhile, Eng. Essam Al-Afeeri, Director of Information and Systems for Technical Education, reviewed the stages of the joint team’s work and the progress made to adapt to changes, establishing a coordination , admission mechanism for community colleges and technical institutes through the Information Technology Center, culminating in a unified portal accommodating all educational systems and programs.
