Izzat al-Rishq, a member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), addressed a message to the Israeli army following threats to expand the war in the Gaza Strip.
Rishq said: "You are threatening to expand the operation?! What is left for you to do that you haven't done? You killed, you starved, you destroyed... and you failed to break Gaza."
