Tehran - Saba:
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has reiterated his country's commitment, more than ever, to reaching a fair and balanced agreement.
Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Araghchi as saying on Friday afternoon, "We have decided, along with the Omani and American sides, for technical and logistical reasons, to postpone the fourth round of negotiations."
The Iranian Foreign Minister clarified that "there has been no change on Iran's part in our desire to reach a negotiated solution."
He pointed out that "Iran's red lines in the negotiations are clearly defined and have been communicated to the American side."
Abbas Araghchi stated, "We are more determined than ever to reach a fair and balanced agreement; an agreement that guarantees the end of sanctions and builds confidence that Iran's nuclear program will always remain peaceful, while ensuring full respect for Iran's rights."
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei announced that "the date for the next round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, which was scheduled for next Saturday in Rome, has been changed." He added that "the negotiations were postponed at the suggestion of the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, and the new date will be announced later."
