Occupied Quds - (Saba):
Tens of thousands of worshippers performed Friday prayers at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the Israeli occupation forces' tightened security at the military checkpoints surrounding Quds, the Old City, and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem reported that tens of thousands of worshippers performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, mourning the souls of the martyrs in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
Safa News Agency reported that Israeli forces forced those deported from Al-Aqsa Mosque to leave the Old City of occupied Quds, after preventing them from performing Friday prayers in its vicinity.
The agency added that Israeli forces deployed heavily in the streets of Quds and around the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque, stopping a number of people entering the mosque and searching their belongings and bags.
Israeli forces also stopped several young men as they made their way to the Old City and prevented them from reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque for Friday prayers.
