On this day, May 1, the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression targeted industrial and service facilities, residential neighborhoods, and roads in several governorates, committing war crimes and genocide against the Yemeni people.
On May 1, 2015, 20 citizens were killed and more than 50 others, including women and children, were injured in airstrikes launched by the aggression on the Al-Marawan neighborhood in the Sawan residential area of the capital, Sana'a, resulting in its complete destruction.
Airstrikes targeted several areas and neighborhoods in the capital, targeting Sana'a International Airport, the Al-Hasaba area, Jabal Aiban, Faj Attan, and Al-Sabaha area in Sana'a Governorate. A citizen was killed and four others were injured in airstrikes launched by the aggression's air force in Taiz Governorate, targeting the Republican Palace, the main street, the Special Forces camp, the Salah al-Din Plastics Factory in the Al-Kindi roundabout, Jabal Uman, the 22nd Armored Brigade camp in Al-Jand, and some residential areas.
A number of civilians were injured when the aggression's air force targeted the Al-Saq' Dam in the Khadir district of the same governorate.
The driver of a truck loaded with diesel fuel belonging to an oil station, which was en route to Al-Jawf Governorate, was killed in an airstrike by the aggression's air force.

On May 1, 2016, a woman was killed by mercenaries shelling the village of Al-Jariba in Al-Wazi'iyah District, Taiz Governorate. A civilian was also killed by mercenaries shelling the Al-Arba'een neighborhood in the Kalaba area.
Mercenaries fired live ammunition and targeted the Al-Mashjah and Al-Ashqari areas in the Sirwah District, Marib Governorate, with artillery and missiles. They also shelled Jabal Hareem in the Nihm District, Sana'a Governorate, and the Karsh District, Lahj Governorate.
