Dr. Ali Sayf, Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water, emphasized the importance of reviewing and updating regulations governing the operation of private generators to safeguard the rights of citizens and investors while curbing any illegal practices or exploitation.
During a meeting today with a number of citizens as part of an open day to address public complaints, Minister Sayf praised the efforts of the electricity and water sectors' personnel and their contributions to meeting demand and delivering electricity, water, and sanitation services—despite the challenges facing the country due to the ongoing aggression.
At the meeting, the Minister listened to citizens' complaints, which included difficulties related to the services provided to them. He affirmed that the ministry's leadership would address all complaints positively and work to resolve them within available means and in accordance with approved procedures.
Dr. Sayf explained that the meeting comes in implementation of the directives of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, the government of change , development to streamline procedures and enhance transparency and fairness in service delivery.
He directed the relevant authorities within the ministry and its affiliated sectors to address submitted complaints and submit detailed periodic reports on progress to ensure effective resolution and achieve beneficiary satisfaction.
