Students from the summer schools in Al-Mahwit city carried out a visit to the Republican Hospital on Wednesday, as part of the awareness and educational programs of the summer courses aimed at promoting health awareness among students.
During the visit, the students learned about the healthcare services provided by the hospital, the nature of medical work, the equipment and devices used in patient care.
Dr. Hameed Al-Sadiq, Director of the Republican Hospital, emphasized the importance of such visits in enhancing students' health awareness, especially amid the ongoing American-British aggression against Yemen. He praised the efforts of the summer course organizers in integrating awareness activities into their educational programs.
He added that these initiatives contribute to developing health knowledge , skills among youth and help promote sound health practices within the community.
For their part, the students appreciated the cooperation of the hospital’s administration, medical staff, and administrative personnel, as well as the services they provide to patients.
