The death toll from the explosion that rocked "Rajaei Shahr" Port in the city of Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, rose to 70 on Tuesday, according to Crisis Management spokesperson Hossein Zafari.
Zafari stated that 1,192 people received medical treatment in hospitals, 1,072 of whom have been discharged, while 120 are still under medical care.
A massive explosion occurred last Saturday inside one of the containers at "Rajaei Shahr" Port, triggering a large-scale fire that took nearly two days to extinguish and caused extensive human and material losses.
