Sana'a University Council Praises Former President's Efforts and Approves Tuition Fee Collection Mechanism

The Council of Sana'a University, during its meeting today chaired by University President Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhayti, extended an appreciation message on behalf of all university members to former president Dr. Al-Qasim Abbas for his dedicated efforts in achieving tangible accomplishments that contributed to stabilizing and developing the university's educational process.

The council - held at the university presidency with the attendance of vice presidents, assistants, and college deans - approved the tuition fee collection mechanism for first-stage undergraduate (bachelor's) students This mechanism allows students to pay no less than 50% of their tuition fees before first-semester exams, with the remaining balance due before second-semester exams.

Additionally, the council endorsed the organizational structure of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences and approved a Master's program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the Business Management Center of the College of Commerce and Economics.

The Agreement was reached to complete the review of master's programs at the College of Agriculture, including:
- Crops and Genetic Improvement
- Animal Resources
- Land, Water, and Environment
- Horticulture Science and Technology
- Agricultural Engineering and Technologies
- Food Science and Nutrition
- Agricultural Economics.

The council also approved awarding PhD and Master's degrees to 28 male and female students across various disciplines, while approving graduation lists for several colleges.

During the session, the council discussed numerous topics related to academic affairs, postgraduate studies, and student matters, making appropriate decisions regarding them.
