The UN Security Council will hold its quarterly open meeting today, Tuesday, on "The situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question," followed by closed consultations.
The meeting is scheduled to be chaired by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, while UN Secretary-General António Guterres will provide a comprehensive briefing on the situation in the Middle East.
