Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning forecasts rainfall of varying intensity across several governorates over the next 24 hours, warning of thunderstorms and poor visibility.
Thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected in Dhamar, Raymah, Al Mahwit, Hajjah, Ibb, Amran, and western Sana'a.
Scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is also expected in parts of the governorates of Saada, Taiz, Al Dhale'e, and western Al Bayda and Al Jawf.
The center reported that the amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Dhamar over the past 24 hours was 3.4 mm, and in Al Mahwit: 0.2 mm.
Scattered rains of varying intensity also fell outside the monitoring stations in parts of Hajjah, Amran, Ibb, and Taiz governorates.
The center warned citizens against being in or crossing flood channels and valleys during and after the rains, and against thunderstorms and lightning, advising them to follow safety measures.
It also warned drivers of reduced visibility due to low clouds and rainfall, especially on mountain roads.
