Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei has said that the second round of talks held Saturday in Rome between Iran and the United States, mediated by the Omani Foreign Minister, was useful and took place in a constructive atmosphere.
In a post on X platform monitored by the Iranian Mehr News Agency, Baghaei wrote: "Useful indirect talks were held today between Iran and the United States, mediated by the Omani Foreign Minister, in a constructive atmosphere."
He said, "The two sides agreed to resume indirect talks at the technical level within the next few days, and then continue them at the senior negotiator level next Saturday."
