Ibb undersecretary inspects summer courses, secondary exams in rural districts

Ibb province undersecretary Qasim al-Masawi on Wednesday conducted an inspection of the progress of summer activities and courses at Martyr Taha al-Madani Center within the Bilal bin Rabah Complex and the Martyr Taj al-Din Center in al-Faqeed al-Hubaish Complex, both located in Maytam area of Ibb rural district.

Al-Masawi, accompanied by the Chairman of the Planning Committee Ahmed al-Hubaishi, and Director of the General Authority for Zakat branch in the district Abdul-Raqeeb Al-Hamiri received a briefing on the implementation of educational, cultural, and sports activities. They also reviewed the efforts being made to create a conducive environment for the success of these courses and the achievement of their intended educational benefits.

During their visit, the officials presented the participants at these centers with encouraging gifts, including notebooks, pens, and various educational supplies, with support provided by the General Authority for Zakat in the district.

Al-Masawi emphasized the significant attention that the summer courses are receiving from the "Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi," the Supreme Political Council, the government, all official and popular bodies, and the General Mobilization Forces. He highlighted the importance of these courses in educating the younger generation, enlightening them with guidance, awareness, insight, and beneficial knowledge, and strengthening their adherence to their authentic faith identity.

He described the summer centers as vital educational, awareness-raising, and creative platforms, offering an important opportunity to utilize the summer vacation in a way that benefits students, protects them from the dangers of "soft warfare," and develops their creative and skill-based talents.

Al-Masawi stressed the importance of evaluating and monitoring the performance of these centers to ensure the quality of the implemented activities and achieve the desired benefits for both students and society. He also commended the local community's active engagement with the summer courses.

In a separate part of his visit, al-Masawi also inspected the progress of the secondary school exams at al-Hamzah Al-Manakh complex, also located in the Maytam district of Ibb Rural.

He praised the level of preparation and organization for the examinations and the appropriate environment provided for the students. He urged the students to exert greater effort and perseverance to achieve advanced results in their exams.

Finally, he encouraged all students to join the summer courses upon completion of their exams to take advantage of their diverse programs and activities.
