Sana'a – SABA:
A cultural evening was held in Manakha District, Sana’a Governorate, to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) under the slogan "By the Lord of the Kaaba, I have succeeded."
During the event, Faiz Al-Hanami, the Public Mobilization Officer in the governorate, emphasized that the Yemenis’ commemoration of this occasion reflects their deep connection to Imam Ali and their desire to follow his example. He also highlighted Imam Ali’s heroic stances in confronting oppression and spreading Islam, noting his sacrifice in protecting Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) during the migration to Medina.
Al-Hanami called for active participation in the International Quds Day events in Sana’a, reaffirming commitment to the Palestinian cause.
Additionally, Khaled Al-Qasimi, the Public Mobilization Officer in the district, and Abdul-Alim Al-Mutawakkil, a cultural activist, discussed Imam Ali’s virtues and his deep connection with the Quran. They stressed the importance of drawing lessons from his life to strengthen the bond with the Prophet and his pure household.
