The Governor of Ibb, Abdulwahed Salah, inspected the performance of the agricultural sector in the governorate, accompanied by a number of officials. He listened to a detailed explanation of the activities implemented to support agriculture amidst economic challenges.
He also reviewed the sites for establishing an agricultural research station at a cost of 40 million Yemeni riyals, as well as nurseries and agricultural production research. The governor affirmed that agricultural research is a fundamental pillar for development, stressing the importance of scientific studies to advance the agricultural sector and achieve self-sufficiency. He called for unifying efforts to enhance agricultural extension methods and make use of available expertise.
