Member of the Supreme Political Council, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, condemned the brutal US-British aggression that targeted a residential neighborhood in the capital Sana'a and the northern city of Sa'ada.

This came when he participated this evening in an event to commemorate the anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Badr al-Kubra and the conquest of Mecca, as well as the 26th anniversary of the death of the Sheikh of chanting, Allamah al-Hafiz Muhammad Hussein Amer, organized by the Yemeni Minstrels Association, the Yemen Foundation for Culture and Political Development, the National Coalition of Civil Society Organizations and the Arab Union for Culture and Creativity, in the presence of prominent political, cultural , media figures and a crowd of citizens, in the presence of prominent political, cultural and media figures.

"These aggressors, after ten years of their aggression and blockade, still believe that they can subject the Yemeni people to their will and dictates, not realizing that the Palestinian cause is for him a central issue as it is for every Arab and Muslim," said Dr. Bin Habtoor.

Dr. Bin Habtoor saluted all the leaders, thinkers, intellectuals, and poets present at the evening who contributed to the revival of the cultural heritage of Yemen in general and Sana'a in particular. He pointed out that the victories of the Battle of Badr and the conquest of Mecca are not just memories, but a methodology for building a present that restores the glory of the nation.

"Yemeni unity has elevated the status of the Yemeni people and their place in history, yet there are groups who are hostile to it , work day and night to push others to hate it," said the member of the Political Council. "Yemeni unity is the will of the Yemeni people, and the Yemeni people still have the moral and material strength that qualifies them to preserve this great achievement," he stressed.

He added, "Yemen is the address of pride and dignity, as well as its capital, Sana'a, which has accepted everyone and which we should always remind it of the good constantly and offer our best in order for it to live high and elevated."

For his part, Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali Al-Yafei referred to the interest in supporting , encouraging religious chants , mushahids and all heritage arts that are linked to cultural identity , faith, sponsoring cultural events and activities that promote adherence to faith identity.

Dr. Hussein Al-Omari, a member of the Minstrels Association, and Ali Al-Akoua, president of the Yemeni Minstrels Association and president of the Arab Union for Culture and Creativity, pointed out that "Yemeni chanting is a message of values , morals," and stressed that the association works to revive the artistic heritage and protect it from extinction.

In his speech, Yahya al-Mahfadi highlighted the role of religious chants in consolidating the spiritual identity of society, praising the efforts of the late Sheikh Mohammed Hussein. He praised the efforts of the late Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Amer in enriching Yemeni chants.

For his part, Mohammed Amer touched on the contributions of his father Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Amer in the field of chanting and the efforts made to archive his works. He emphasized that Yemeni art is able to withstand all challenges.
