Gold hits record high driven by trade concerns
[14/ March/2025]
London - Saba:
Gold prices hit a record high during trading on Friday, supported by uncertainty stemming from US tariffs and trade tensions.

Spot gold settled at $2,985.30 per ounce, after hitting an all-time high of $2,990.09 earlier in the session, approaching the psychologically important $3,000 barrier.

Gold is on track for its second consecutive weekly gain, having risen 2.5% since the beginning of the week.
