A meeting in Amran Governorate, chaired by the Ministers of Transport, Public Works and Civil Service and the Governor of Amran, discussed urgent interventions for the maintenance of main roads, including Amran-Raydah-Kharif-Dhibin-Shawaba and Qaflat Athr-Obeisa road.
During the meeting, they reviewed the governorate's needs for road projects and approved the implementation of the first phase of maintenance of 600 million riyals, including 100 million from the local authority and 500 million from the Road Maintenance Fund.
The officials also visited the tomb of Imam Abdullah bin Hamza in historic Dhofar and were briefed on archaeological monuments, stressing the importance of preserving Yemeni heritage and supporting development projects despite challenges.
