At Ta'iziyah Agricultural Cooperative Society in Taiz Governorate, launched today the harvest of wheat in Al-Shabaniyah Al-Ulya district in At Ta'iziyah District.
The Director of the District, Abdul Khaliq Al-Junaid, confirmed the success of the wheat cultivation experiment, stressing the importance of continuing efforts to achieve self-sufficiency in food, with the local authority's readiness to provide facilities to farmers.
The Secretary-General of the Society, Mazen Al-Hashemi, and the Executive Director Khaled Al-Hababi, pointed to the role of the Society in providing ploughing and harvesting services at reduced prices to support farmers.
Ahmed Al-Hamdani, Head of the Plowing Unit, also confirmed the continuation of land preparation work for the upcoming agricultural season.
