Sana'a (Saba) - A workshop on enhancing disaster and flood risk management in the Republic of Yemen began in Sana'a, organized by the Civil Defense Authority, in cooperation with the Prime Minister's Office and the Water and Environment Center at Sana'a University.
The two-day workshop, with the participation of relevant and concerned parties, will discuss topics on disaster risk management governance, the early warning system for floods and earthquakes in Yemen, preparedness and response to disasters, and the role of local authorities and society in responding to emergencies.
